Why I Keep a Commonplace Book
A simple notebook habit that keeps ideas, quotes and small observations close.
A commonplace book is nothing more than a notebook of things worth remembering: a line of dialogue, a recipe, the colour of the sea on a particular afternoon.
Mine has become a quiet companion, and the place where most of my characters first appear.
