On Finding Stories in Everyday Places

Sometimes the most ordinary days hold the most extraordinary stories.

Most of my stories begin somewhere unremarkable: a queue at the bakery, a bus that is running late, a conversation overheard between two strangers who will never meet again.

I have learned to carry a small notebook for these moments. Not every line becomes a chapter, but each one reminds me that attention is the first step of any story.
